so i have not had my period in four months almost five. this would be understandable if i wasn’t a virgin. i never had sex and i am not having my period, i don’t take birth control pills or any medication that would prevent my period from occurring. I don’t know what this means the doctor thinks this a sign of some type of cancer but I’m only 19 years old and I don’t have cancer they ruled that out. please someone help me understand what is going on with my body.
It may be due to stress. If you’re a very stressed out person your period can either stop completely or get all out of whack.

i cant say… you should check with your gynecologist. my take on this, it could be hormonal problems… happens at this age.. i went to the same phase when i was 17, the medication process is slow, i was fully cured and my period cycle got back on track only after 2 years.
have you started to put on weight? thats another symptom of a hormonal problem. and if not cancer, it could be a cyst in the ovary.. PCOD (polycystic ovary) it can be cured with tablets and stuff, not to worry…
period problems should always be looked into and cured as soon as possible. go to your doc soon

I LIKE SERIOUSLY DOUBT YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT THAT HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE LIKE TWICE-THE FIRST TIME I DIDNT HAVE MY PERIOD FOR LIKE 4 MONTHS AND I WENT TO THE DOCTOR AND THEY STARTED ME ON “ESTROGEN” PILLS AND IT TOOK LIKE 3 WEEKS OF BEING ON THEM AND THEN THEY WORKED!!
BUT I ALSO RECOMMEND, I KNOW YOU ARE A VIRGIN BUT IF YOU DO EVER HAVE SEX USE CONDOMS BUT ESPECIALLY DURING THIS TIME BECAUSE THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENED TO ME I DIDNT HAVE MY PERIOD FOR 3 MONTHS AND I HAD UNPROTECTIVE SEX AND GOT PREGGO WITHOUT EVEN HAVING PERIODS!!!
